Abstract
Abstract Synthetic rubber compositions having both rubbery and thermoplastic properties are prepared by reacting a rubber copolymer of a conjugated diolefin, a vinyl monomer such as styrene or acrylonitrile and a tertiary amine group containing copolymerizable monomer such as dimethylaminoethyl methacrylate with an activated halogen compound such as Alpha , Alpha ''dichloro-p-xylene.
