Abstract
Abstract A decalcomania which gives the impression of direct printing on a substrate is based on the use of a pigmented insoluble resin which hardens by means other than solvent evaporation. The imprint or decoration is protected during handling by a lacquer mask which can be stripped from the imprint due to the fact that the resin is insoluble in the solvent from which the lacquer is deposited.
