Abstract
Abstract A polymer which is formed from the reaction of an aromatic compound having at least three halomethyl substituent groups with a tertiary amine having at least two alkylamine groups wherein the nitrogens therein are separated by at least three carbon atoms and with a dihalo substituted organic compound to form a cross-linked, water-insoluble polyquaternary ammonium polymer.
