Abstract
Abstract There are disclosed novel Alpha , Alpha , Alpha -trifluoro-2nitro-6-(substituted-mercapto)-p-tolunitriles prepared from Alpha , Alpha , Alpha -trifluoro-2,6-dinitro-p-tolunitrile by a nitro displacement reaction. The novel compounds possess herbicidal, bactericidal, fungicidal and antiprotozoal properties.
