Abstract
Abstract Indamine salts, having the formula WHEREIN R1 and R2 are lower alkyl, R3 and R4 are lower alkyl which can be substituted with hydroxy, amino or acylamino, R5 and R6 are hydrogen, lower alkyl or lower alkoxy, R is amino, acylamino or hydroxy, n is 1-2 and Xn( ) is an anion, are useful for dyeing keratinous fibers and, in particular, human hair. These salts can be in a tautomeric form of that represented above.
