Abstract
Abstract An apparatus and method for the manufacture of elongated parallelepiped prefabricated sections intended to be joined by like sections to form a building, the apparatus having a rectangular framework for surrounding the section which being fabricated, the framework having an opening on top for receiving a roof or ceiling panel and rollers on the framework''s supporting floor or the underlying ground for conveying floor panels into the framework and the fabricated section from the framework. Supports for side walls are pivotally connected to supports for the rollers within the framework so that they are pivoted outward relative to each other and the adjacent floor panel for receiving the sidewalls and pivoted with the supported sidewalls therein to a vertical position for connection to the floor panel. Positioning means are interconnected to the framework for positioning the floor panels, sidewalls, transverse walls and ceiling or roof panels into their desired positions for connection by welding - steel beams being provided at the peripheries of each of these panels.
