Abstract
Abstract The present invention relates to phosphorus containing compounds and more specifically to phosphorus and phosphoric acid esters of the formula, WHEREIN R1 and R2 are each hydrogen or alkyl, N IS AN INTEGER 1 OR 2, AND Y is a mono or divalent aromatic radical. The compounds are useful as flame retardants for, e.g., plastics materials.
