Abstract
Abstract Positive-acting photosensitive compositions having satisfactory adherence to metals, glass, silicon oxide and the like are obtainable by dissolving a naphthoquinone-(1,2)-diazide-(2) and a polyvalent alcohol partially esterfied with a hydroxyphenylmonocarboxylic acid, which ester has a softening point between 50*C and 95*C, in an organic solvent. After a substrate has been coated with the composition the assembly is heated at from 80*C to 95*C before the exposure. The compositions provide well-defined images.
