Abstract
Abstract Apparatus and method for constructing a six-bale stock of 3 - 2 - 1 ''''shingled'''' configuration from bales having unequal crosssectional rectangular dimensions. Bales discharged from a baler are elevated in an inclined chute into position and orientation for automatic release onto a forked stook platform, so positioned that a stook is assembled of the desired shingled configuration, the bales oriented with regard to major and minor cross-sectional dimensions. When the stook is fully assembled, the pivoted stook platform is automatically tripped for ground discharge of the stook, and after discharge returns automatically to loading position.
