Abstract

Abstract A battery operated automatic reflex camera comprising a film transport motor which performs the several functions of moving the reflex mirror to the viewing position, advancing an exposed film unit into a position where it can be grasped by a pair of processing rolls, and driving the processing rolls to eject the film unit while distributing the processing fluid throughout the film unit. The camera is arranged to be powered by a battery, and the apparatus includes a timing belt driven by the motor. The timing belt drives the processing rolls, and controls a cam that sequentially operates the mirror and then operates an advance mechanism before the film unit is engaged by the processing rolls so that the load on the battery is minimized.
