Abstract
Abstract Organosilicone polymers are provided containing siliconcontaining units A, B and C, where A is SiO4/2, B is a monofunctional siloxy unit in which silicon is bonded to at least one organic moiety bearing an organic-capped poly(oxyalkylene) chain, and C is a monofunctional trihydrocarbylsiloxy unit, and in which there are from about 0.75 to about 2 moles of A, and from about 0.1 to about 1 mole of C, per mole of B. The polymers are useful as surfactants and find particular application in the manufacture of flexible polyester urethane cellular products, including flame-retarded foams.
