Abstract
Abstract Bubbles of gas are removed from liquids e.g. hydraulic fluids or coating compositions, by incorporating therein 0.0001 - 0.25% by weight of an organosilicon compound containing at least one oxirane ring, which is bonded directly to a silicon atom or forms part of an organic radical bonded to a silicon atom by a Si-C bond. The organosilicon compound can be a monomer, a homopolymer, or a copolymer.
