Abstract Compounds of the formula WHEREIN R1 is H, I, an amino or an amido group; R2 is H or lower-alkyl and X is a C-C single bond, a bridging hydrocarbon group or a group of the formula WHEREIN Y is lower-hydrocarbon, are radiopaque agents useful, e.g., in myelography and bronchography.
