Abstract
Abstract A process for the preparation of 2-(aryl)-as-triazine-3,5-(2H, 4H)-dione coccidiostats by the decarboxylation of the corresponding 6-carboxylic acid comprising contacting said acid with at least a 0.1 molar proportion of thiourea, or a substituted thiourea.
