Abstract
Abstract A method of preparing a resinous system, and the resinous system produced by the method is described whereby 30 moles of formaldehyde, 2 moles catalyzing acid, 2 moles triethanolamine, and 12 moles of urea are sequentially reacted to provide an aqueous resinous solution. The resinous solution will cure at room temperature or upon application of heat, permitting its use as or in coatings, adhesives, and the like.
