Abstract

Abstract An exposure mechanism and system for photographic apparatus characterized in the use of a stepper motor for supplying motive power to shutter blades and exposure mechanisms providing two parameter exposure control. The output of the stepper motor is substantially directly coupled with exposure mechanism blades to provide enhanced operational efficiencies. The mechanism is characterized by high accuracy due to close control of requisite anticipatory techniques occasioned with reversing exposure mechanism blade or element movement. The arrangement also results in reduced power consumption requirements for such mechanisms.
