Abstract Antibacterial compositions containing 3-sulfanilamido-4,5dimethylisoxazole and 2,4-diamino-5-(3,4,5-trimethoxybenzyl)pyrimidine wherein the sulfonamide has a prolonged half-life in blood plasma are described.
