Abstract
Abstract The growth of tobacco suckers in tobacco plants is inhibited by applying to the tobacco plants an effective amount of a substituted 2,6-dinitroaniline, alone or in combination with a surfactant and/or a compound selected from the group consisting of secondary and tertiary fatty amine salts, a lower alkyl ester of a C6 to C18 saturated and unsaturated fatty acid, and a C6 to C18 saturated fatty alcohol, and mixtures thereof.
