Abstract
Abstract A stool or like body supporting device having a seat and a back, a first pneumatically expandable column supporting the seat on a base, and a second such column holding the back in a desired angular relationship to the seat is equipped with a single operating lever pivotally mounted on the seat for alternative engagement with the release pins of the two columns so that a user may adjust both the height of the seat and the slope of the back while manipulating the single lever.
