Abstract

Abstract A disposable diaper formed of an outer sheet of water-proof material, an inner absorbent filling and an inner lining of water-permeable material is provided at each side adjacent one end with tapes of adhesive material for securing the diaper around the body of the infant when the edges of the other end are brought adjacent the end having the tapes. These tapes are double-stick tapes, that is, they are provided with adhesive on both faces, so that, when the covering layer is removed on the outer side of the tape, the baby''s T-shirt can be pressed against this tab and adhered thereto so as to hold down the T-shirt and prevent it from riding up on the infant''s body.
