Abstract
Abstract A novel class of light-sensitive polymers and their use in photographic reproduction is described. The polymers contain a light-sensitive stilbene moiety selected from the group consisting of stilbenebenzimidazole, stilbenebenzotriazole, stilbenebenzoxazole and stilbenebenzothiazole attached to the polymer backbone. These light sensitive polymers are efficiently crosslinked and insolubilized when exposed to actinic light.
