Abstract
Abstract The artificial sweetener known as dipeptide sweetener, which is actually aspartyl phenylalanine methyl ester is mixed with specific proportions of cream of tartar and/or sodium bicarbonate or potassium bicarbonate and lactose and/or dextrose in order to improve the sweetening properties of the composition and to give the same the more natural sweetness of ordinary sugar.
