Abstract
Abstract A hermetically sealed secondary battery has at least one solid cathode, at least one hydrogen gas diffusion anode of lanthanum nickel spaced from the cathode, and an alkaline electrolyte in contact with the cathode and anode. Such a battery provides a light-weight, high-power output device.
