Abstract

Abstract A polyethylene terephthalate film for a photographic film support is coated with a polyamide-epichlorohydrin resin layer and then a hydrophilic resin layer as subbing layers prior to the application of a photosensitive emulsion layer. The surface of the polyethylene terephthalate film may be subjected to a surface activation treatment.
