Abstract
Abstract Flame-retardant yarns and fabrics of a combination of (1) fibers of a polyester resin of at least 75 mol % of ethylene-2,6naphthalene dicarboxylate units and a flame-retardant amount of an organic bromine or chlorine compound physically mixed therewith and (2) flame-retardant cellulosic fibers. Preferably, one or more specified metal compounds are also physically mixed with the polyester resin and halogen compound.
