Abstract
Abstract A composition of matter in the form of a plastic mass useful as an educating and entertaining medium is made up essentially of polyethylene oxide, silica aerogel, one or more polyglycols with a molecular weight between 3,500 and 10,000, and water. The mass is non-Newtonian, has low internal rebound and is thixotropic, and it is virtually impossible to cause injury to any one or even to break single strength window glass by throwing a 30 gram mass as one would throw a baseball, even at a distance of 5 feet.
