Abstract
Abstract A piezoelectric transducer is bonded to an acoustic medium by a composite bond formed by a polymerizable plastic material and a sheet-like grid. Proper selection of the material and percentage of open space of the grid allows the acoustic impedance of the composite bond to be adjusted to a desired value.
