Abstract
Abstract A process for recovering copper values from an acidic aqueous medium which comprises contacting the medium with a mixed extraction reagent. The reagent comprises an organic solvent having dissolved therein a 2-hydroxy benzophenoxime or mixtures thereof and an organo phosphoric acid in an amount up to about 4 percent by volume of the solvent. The invention includes the composition comprised of the substituted hydroxy benzophenoxime and the organophosphoric acid.
