Abstract
Abstract A vulcanizable fluoroelastomer composition having utility in the manufacture of cured fluoroelastomer articles can be prepared by blending the following components: (A) an elastomeric vinylidene fluoride copolymer, (B) as a vulcanization agent, a compound selected from certain 1,4-benzoquinones, and 1,4-naphthoquinones, (C) a suitable vulcanization accelerator such as a quaternary ammonium, phosphonium, stibonium or arsonium compound, and (D) a suitable metal compound such as a divalent metal oxide or hydroxide.
