Abstract
Abstract The detergent composition having a good detergency, a good transparency and the function of imparting a freshness preservation ability to food or the like comprises a sucrose ester component which comprises at least one sucrose ester of fatty acid having six to 22 carbon atoms, an organic acid component which is a member selected from the group consisting of malic acid, tartaric acid, alkaline salts of malic acid or tartaric acid and mixtures of the foregoing and preferably further includes an amino acid component and/or a saccharide component.
