Abstract
Abstract An enamel composition containing imide and urethane groups useful for the manufacture of solderable enamel wires consisting of the reaction product of an aromatic hydroxyl compound and an aromatic isocyanate compound, at least one of these compounds containing imide groups and reacted with each other in a stoichimetric ratio in respect to the hydroxyl and isocyanate groups corresponding to urethane formation.
