Abstract
Abstract A composite material for recording holograms with infrared radiation. The material includes an IR-absorbent substrate and a thin IR-transparent recording layer. Infrared radiation passes through the recording layer and is absorbed by the substrate whereupon areas of the recording layer are vaporized by contact with heated surface areas of the substrate.
