Abstract
Abstract The present invention relates to a process for preparing polyvinyl butyral composite interlayer for laminated safety glass. A color gradient is printed onto a polyvinyl butyral sheet and the printed surface is then combined with a second sheet of polyvinyl butyral to provide a composite interlayer. The composite sheet does not require any dusting to prevent ink strike off and the problem of undesirable ink transfer in rolled sheet material is minimized.
