Abstract
Abstract A rapid radioimmunoassay for detecting immunoreactive insulin in body fluids, e.g., blood plasma, utilizing zirconyl phosphate gel at a pH at which free insulin will not bind to it, i.e., pH of 6.0 to 6.5, preferably 6.25, to adsorb antibody-bound insulin while leaving free insulin in solution, is disclosed.
