Claims Analysis

Total Claims: 12
Claim 1
Independent Claim 77 words
A thermoformed container closure comprising: an outer shell of plastic material of substantially uniform thickness throughout except in the areas where deformed and having a top wall and a skirt wall depending therefrom, and a thermoformed liner of a material different from and softer than said shell material and of substantially uniform thickness throughout except in the areas where deformed bonded to the interior of said outer shell throughout the entire inner surface area of said shell.
Claim 2
Dependent Claim 77 words
A thermoformed container closure comprising: an outer shell of plastic material of substantially uniform thickness throughout except in the areas where deformed and having a top wall and a skirt wall depending therefrom, and a thermoformed liner of a material different from and softer than said shell material and of substantially uniform thickness throughout except in the areas where deformed bonded to the interior of said outer shell throughout the entire inner surface area of said shell.
Claim 3
Dependent Claim 15 words
A container closure as in claim 1 wherein said liner material is of thermoplastic rubber.
Claim 4
Dependent Claim 32 words
A container closure as in claim 1 wherein the skirt wall includes means for fastening the closure to the container, said liner material covering at least a portion of said fastening means.
Claim 5
Dependent Claim 13 words
A container closure as in claim 3 wherein said fastening means comprises threads.
Claim 6
Dependent Claim 21 words
A container closure as in claim 1 further comprising an anti-friction agent on at least a portion of said liner material.
Claim 7
Dependent Claim 32 words
A container closure as in claim 1 wherein said liner material comprises material treated prior to use on the closure to reduce its coefficient of friction from that in its normal state.
Claim 8
Dependent Claim 23 words
A container closure as in claim 6 wherein the liner material comprises material subjected to ultraviolet light to reduce its coefficient of friction.
Claim 9
Dependent Claim 23 words
A container closure as in claim 6 wherein the liner material comprises material subjected to ozone gas to reduce its coefficient of friction.
Claim 10
Dependent Claim 85 words
A thermoformed container closure comprising: an outer shell of sheet plastic material of substantially uniform thickness throughout except in the areas where deformed and having a top wall and a skirt wall depending therefrom, and a thermoformed liner of a material different from and softer than said shell material and of substantially uniform thickness throughout except in the areas where deformed bonded to the interior of said outer shell at least in the area of said top wall prior to the thermoforming of said closure.
Claim 11
Dependent Claim 85 words
A thermoformed container closure comprising: an outer shell of sheet plastic material of substantially uniform thickness throughout except in the areas where deformed and having a top wall and a skirt wall depending therefrom, and a thermoformed liner of a material different from and softer than said shell material and of substantially uniform thickness throughout except in the areas where deformed bonded to the interior of said outer shell at least in the area of said top wall prior to the thermoforming of said closure.
Claim 12
Dependent Claim 15 words
A container closure as in claim 9 wherein said inner material is of thermoplastic rubber.
