Abstract
Abstract The particular anisotropy of specific propagation surface orientations on bismuth germanium oxide substrate members is utilized to achieve minimal diffraction acoustic surface wave propagation. A preferred embodiment utilizes a propagation surface that substantially coincides with a plane defined by the Euler angle Lambda 45*, Gamma 40.04*, and Theta 90*. An alternative embodiment utilizes a propagation surface that substantially coincides with a plane defined by the Euler angles Lambda 45*, Gamma 72.53*, and Theta 90*.
