Abstract

Abstract Method for forming block copolymers by reacting a polymer constituent with bis(4-isocyanatocyclohexyl)methane and then reacting the resulting isocyanate-capped prepolymer with a dihydroperoxide to form a peroxycarbamate which is used to initiate the polymerization of an ethylenically-unsaturated monomer. The resulting block copolymers can be formed as transparent films.
