Claims Analysis

Total Claims: 5
Claim 1
Independent Claim 78 words
A static device for mixing a plurality of fluids comprising: a hollow cylindrical tube having an inlet and an outlet; and a plurality of shaped pieces filling said tube, said pieces comprising a circular disc having perpendicularly attached thereto at least one projection, the diameter of said disc being about 0.25 to 0.9 times the inner diameter of said tube and the length of said projection being about 0.25 to 0.75 times the inner diameter of said tube.
Claim 2
Dependent Claim 78 words
A static device for mixing a plurality of fluids comprising: a hollow cylindrical tube having an inlet and an outlet; and a plurality of shaped pieces filling said tube, said pieces comprising a circular disc having perpendicularly attached thereto at least one projection, the diameter of said disc being about 0.25 to 0.9 times the inner diameter of said tube and the length of said projection being about 0.25 to 0.75 times the inner diameter of said tube.
Claim 3
Dependent Claim 23 words
The device of claim 1, where said tube has at least one constriction in the inner diameter near the inlet of said tube.
Claim 4
Dependent Claim 26 words
The device of claim 1, where said shaped pieces are eyelets having an aperature in said disc in fluid communication with a bore in said projection.
Claim 5
Dependent Claim 38 words
The device of claim 1, where said disc has a diameter of about 0.4 to 0.65 times said inner diameter and said projection has a length of about 0.3 to 0.6 times the inner diameter of said tube.
