Abstract
Abstract An improved swash plate compressor provided with a pair of cylinder blocks comprising an aluminum block portion cast with a filler provided with a plurality of sleeves connected to each other with a connecting member. Each sleeve forms a cylindrical bore for receiving a piston which is reciprocally moved in accordance with the motion of the swash plate. The connecting member may be provided with a side surface which bears the thrust force created by the swash plate. The filler is made of a metallic material having a property of high abrasion resistance, such as sintered metal.
