Abstract 7-ACYLAMIDE-3-CEPHEM-4-CARBOXYLIC ACIDS ARE PREPARED IN AN INDUSTRIALLY ADVANTAGEOUS MANNER, BY REACTING A 7-AMINO-3-CEPHAM4-CARBOXYLIC ACID WITH THE REACTIVE DERIVATIVES OF A CARBOXYLIC ACIDS IN THE PRESENCE OF ALCOHOLS, AS A SOLVENT, AND THEREAFTER, IF NECESSARY, REMOVING THE PROTECTING GROUP FOR THE AMINO GROUP OF THE ABOVE-OBTAINED PRODUCTS.
