Abstract The novel compounds of the invention can be represented by the following formula: WHEREIN M is selected from the class consisting of hydrogen and an alkali metal, R1 and R2 are each selected from the class consisting of lower-alkyl, lower-alkenyl, lower-alkoxy, loweralkenyloxy, hydroxy, halogen, trifluoromethyl, loweralkylmercapto, and at least one of R1 and R2 being WHEREIN A is an alkylene group containing from 2 to 6 carbon atoms, inclusive, R3 and R4 are selected from the class consisting of lower-alkyl and lower-alkyl linked together to form, with the attached nitrogen atom, a 5 to 7 ring atom saturated heterocyclic radical, x and y are integers from 0 to 4, inclusive, the sum of x and y being at least 1, and n is an integer from 1 to 2, inclusive; the pharmacologically acceptable acid addition salts of those compounds of the above formula wherein M is hydrogen and at least one of R1 and R2 represents AND THE QUATERNARY AMMONIUM SALTS OF THOSE COMPOUNDS OF THE ABOVE FORMULA WHEREIN M is hydrogen and at least one of R1 and R2 represents THE ANION OF SAID QUATERNARY AMMONIUM SALTS BEING THAT OF A PHARMACOLOGICALLY (PHARMACEUTICALLY) ACCEPTABLE ACID.
