Claims Analysis

Total Claims: 9
Claim 1
Independent Claim 56 words
In a turbidimeter having a light source and a light sensor for determining the turbidity of liquids, the improvement comprising separating said light source and said light sensor from said liquids with a fluorocarbon resin lens which allows the passage of light therethrough, thereby minimizing the tendency of said liquids to form films on said lenses.
Claim 2
Dependent Claim 56 words
In a turbidimeter having a light source and a light sensor for determining the turbidity of liquids, the improvement comprising separating said light source and said light sensor from said liquids with a fluorocarbon resin lens which allows the passage of light therethrough, thereby minimizing the tendency of said liquids to form films on said lenses.
Claim 3
Dependent Claim 13 words
The improvement of claim 1 wherein said liquids comprise mixtures of immiscible fluids.
Claim 4
Dependent Claim 15 words
The improvement of claim 2 wherein said light source and said light sensor are parallel.
Claim 5
Dependent Claim 15 words
The improvement of claim 2 wherein said light source is directed toward said light sensor.
Claim 6
Dependent Claim 12 words
The improvement of claim 2 wherein said liquids contain oil and water.
Claim 7
Dependent Claim 11 words
The improvement of claim 2 wherein said fluorocarbon resin is polytetrafluoroethylene.
Claim 8
Dependent Claim 60 words
In a turbidimeter having a light source and a light sensor for determining the turbidity of liquids, the improvement comprising separating said light source and said light sensor from said liquids with a transparent lens coated with a fluorocarbon resin which allows the passage of light therethrough, thereby minimizing the tendency of said liquids to form films on said lenses.
Claim 9
Dependent Claim 60 words
In a turbidimeter having a light source and a light sensor for determining the turbidity of liquids, the improvement comprising separating said light source and said light sensor from said liquids with a transparent lens coated with a fluorocarbon resin which allows the passage of light therethrough, thereby minimizing the tendency of said liquids to form films on said lenses.
