Abstract
Abstract A device for adjusting the tone and pitch of a bass, or other type of drum, utilizes a pressure plate or roller adapted to movably engage the sound producing membrane of a drum and is urged thereagainst by a lever arm operated by the leg of the musician playing the drum to provide a method of continuously varying the tone and pitch during play.
