Abstract
Abstract The growth of bacteria and fungi are inhibited by contacting the organisms with certain organosilicon amines and their corresponding amine salts. Specifically the compound ((CH3)3SiO)3Si(CH2)3NHCH2CH2NH2 kills S. aureus, E. coli, A. niger and P. aeruginosa at an M.I.C. of 100 ug/ml or less.
