Abstract

Abstract Polyacrylamide and its derivatives are removed from a subterranean formation by flooding the formation with an aqueous polyamine solution. Skin damage can also be removed by this process, resulting in an improved injectivity index. The polyamine solution is preferably lower mono and dialkyl diamines, and more preferably is hydrazine.
