Abstract
Abstract A composite sheet, particularly for use as a screen plate to pass particles below a predetermined size, in which case the sheet has holes punched through the sheet from the face remote from that against which the particles to be screened will impinge. The sheet is formed from three layers of elastomeric sheet material bonded together with intervening layers of a woven, mesh-like material held in a resiliently pre-stressed tensile condition in at least one direction of the mesh during bonding. The intermediate layer of elastomeric material is softer than the outer layers of elastomeric material.
