Abstract
Abstract Latices capable of forming films at ambient temperatures comprising a latex of an ethylene/vinyl acetate copolymer with a polymerised ethylene content of 5 to 45% by dry weight having vinyl chloride units graft polymerised thereto, wherein the copolymer contains at least 2 parts by dry weight of ethylene/vinyl acetate copolymer for every 1 part of graft polymerised vinyl chloride units. The latices are especially suitable for use in paint, paper coating and adhesive formulations.
