Abstract

Abstract A porous carbon electrode containing a plurality of hollow carbon micro-spheres dispersed in a carbonized matrix. A process for producing same which includes mixing hollow carbon microspheres with a thermo-setting resin or a high polymer, molding the mixture to provide a green carbon electrode body, baking and carbonizing the body, followed by an activation treatment.
