Abstract
Abstract A replaceable zipper unit which can be manufactured in various lengths to attach to a boot. The zipper unit is mounted on two pieces of leather. The unit is punctured with holes so that the device may be fastened by eyelets or by laces through the holes to a boot. Removal of the eyelets or laces on an assembled boot permits a worn zipper unit to be discarded and to be replaced by a fresh unit.
