Abstract
Abstract Polyimides are obtained from the reaction of an oligimeric bisimide and a sulfide such as hydrogen sulfide, an organic dithiol, mixtures of such sulfides in the presence of a proton donor. These polymeric compositions have uses in packaging and molding applications, as insulating materials, and as membranes for the separation of gases.
